hello ^_^

it's been a number of years since i last posted anything! but i've still been gal the whole time...

coming across this blog again made me realize the passion and spark i had at that time

now i would really consider myself a real adult ;_; although i'm still a young one at 22

actually i moved to a new city for school for the past 4 years, and i had really started to find a home there. but due to issues with my apartment literally falling apart i had to move away for a bit :P

due to that situation and a few other personal ones, i went completely inactive on social media.

which also ended up with me having to leave the gal circle i was briefly a part of...

(if any of u are reading this now, i apologize!!!!!)

but i met so many cool people living there, and experienced so many fun things. ♡

i was able to attend lots of raves and music events, which was a dream of mine since i was really young!

i also learned a lot about art, sewing, music, and the type of career i really want for myself.

and i was able to grow my self confidence so much, although at times it was very lonely...

of course there are a lot of things i regret bcuz i started out as a clumsy teenager. i feel like i didn't know anything compared to now.

i'm sure i still don't know that much LOL

but usually the hardest experiences are what make u grow into a better person

after everything, i feel stronger and more determined.

i'm more hopeful for the future bcuz i've realized i refuse to accept any situation i don't want to be in.

and from now on i will only form relationships with people who support me the same way i do them !

and i also want to spend my new free time on the goals i left behind!

so we are bringing back this blog!!

i think a lot of ppl do this but i read through lots of old gal blogs. not only from gyaru models but from overseas gyaru too...

it's really cool to see how many big gyaru communities and events used to be all over the world :,)

someday i would really like to to help do things like organize events too! my dream is just to have a gal circle even if it's a 2 person casual one lol

because of that, i was thinking about what i could do as someone new and i wanted to start putting together easier to access gyaru resources, culture, etc

i was already looking for old gyaru info but it's not organized LOL i have a 200+ video playlist on youtube and tons of links saved. yahoo answers is shutting down so i started saving gyaru related questions and badly translating them :,D

i understand some gyaru were probably around for these originally, but i want newer gyaru to be able to find links to old blogs and stuff more easily !

i was soooo sad when universal-doll got shut down. i learned so much from it and when i was starting to wear gyaru i would stay up late reading it lol. but it's still available on internet archive, even if it's slow and hard to navigate </3

it has detailed tours of gyaru malls, brand concepts, shop staff snaps, info on the gal culture in different cities, years of different seasons and trends, and translations of gyaru media from someone who lived in japan/wore gyaru at the time :)
